Serial Space invites YOU to be a part of Sydney’s first incarnation of the world famous visualist mashup: BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer).
BYOB is a participatory memetic event with the premise:
BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) is a series of one-night-exhibitions hosting artists and their projectors.
Anyone can make a BYOB exhibition. It’s very simple:
- find a space
- invite many artists
- ask them to bring their projectors
To be a part of BYOB, all you have to do is bring your beamer (HD/SD or overhead projector) with something to project, an extension cable and a powerboard.
BYOB is a platform for live visual experimentation and collaboration – lets fill the space with one big projection explosion. Who knows what could happen? A portal to another dimension?
