Serial Space is an artist-run gallery space in Sydney, Australia.
Founded in early 2008 by Louise Dibben and Tameka Carter, Serial Space is an Artist Run Initiative dedicated to supporting the development and presentation of interdisciplinary and hybrid art practices. Serial Space’s programming includes on-site developments, gallery shows, workshops, performance events, artist talks and academic conferences. Serial space is run by a collective of 6 artists dedicated to providing opportunities for professional development and creative exchange.
Serial Space is one of the only spaces in Sydney with a strong commitment to fluid and live forms such as sound art, experimental music, electronic art, new media art, and performance art. Serial Space aims to support non-traditional practices and artists/collaborative groups who undertake ambitious, non-commercial and experimental projects.
